Most Filante SLR builds are made to order — this one’s already built and in-stock at Tri Harder, ready for immediate collection or delivery. It’s Wilier’s benchmark aero race bike, engineered around a monocoque frame that combines HUS-Mod carbon with Liquid Crystal Polymer to hit a genuinely light 870g frame weight without giving up the stiffness a race bike needs. The tube profiles were developed using real-world wind tunnel data across a full range of yaw angles, not just a clean, idealised wind-tunnel scenario — the softened NACA/KAMM-tail profiles are designed to hold their aero performance even when the airflow around you isn’t perfectly clean.
Shimano Ultegra Di2 — Race-Level Shifting Without the Dura-Ace Price
This build runs a full Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic groupset — smooth, precise shifting with the reliability Ultegra’s known for, at a more accessible step below Dura-Ace. It’s paired with the Filante SLR’s integrated carbon cockpit, which routes cables internally through the frame for a clean look and a genuine aero benefit.
Scope S5 Wheels — 55mm of Aero-Focused Depth
Rounding out the build is a set of Scope S5 wheels — carbon rims at a 55mm depth, built for road use with a 26mm external rim width and full tubeless compatibility. Scope’s Local Reinforcement carbon lay-up adds extra material only around the spoke holes, keeping weight down without compromising rim strength. The wheels use a 3-pawl hub engagement system and are compatible with tyres from 22–57mm, though 25–30mm is the sweet spot for road use on this build.

What depth are the Scope S5 wheels, and are they good for UK conditions?
They’re a 55mm rim depth — fast on flatter, faster routes, with enough stability for typical UK crosswinds. They’re tubeless-ready too if you want to run lower pressures for comfort and puncture resistance.
What tyres does it come with, and can I change them?
It’s fitted with Vittoria Corsa NEXT tyres. The frame and wheels support 22–57mm tyre widths, so there’s room to size up if you want more comfort or grip.
