If you're looking for a bike service then you've come to the right place. Our shop in Dereham, Norfolk has an excellent purpose built workshop and an in-house mechanic with years of experience. We service all kinds of bikes.

In-house mechanic
Steph has been part of the Tri Harder team since January 2024. Before that 9 years in another shop and has been repairing bikes for 20 years, so your bike is in good hands.

Our in-house bike workshop is purpose built to handle any repair or service to your road, triathlon or gravel bike.
Basic Service
£55excl parts- Frame and Forks: Visual inspection for damage and alignment of the Frame and Forks
- Wheels: Hubs and rims checked for damage and wear, bearings adjusted to remove any free play. trued and spoke tension adjusted/checked. Tyre pressures are checked and correctly set
- Tyres: Tread and sidewall's of tyres checked for damage, pressure checked and adjusted to spec.
- Steering: Headset and stem checked for free play,adjusted and correctly torqued.
- Braking system: Brakes are checked for effective operation and adjusted.
- Transmission: The gears and chain are measured for wear and effective operation, adjusted as required. Crank checked for play in the bottom bracket and chain rings checked for wear.
- All fitted accessories checked to ensure fitted correctly.
- Bike fully test ridden
Full Service
£100excl parts- Full report of all works carried out and parts used
- Bike is fully stripped of all components and bearings
- Frame and Forks: Cleaned and inspected for damage, polished., seat post removed and re greased.
- Wheels: Hubs and rims checked for wear and damage. Bearings removed and re greased if applicable. Bearings checked for play/wear. Through axles greased.
- Tyres: Checked for wear and correct tyre pressure, sealant level checked if applicable.(sealant extra if used)
- Steering: Headset bearings removed, inspected for wear, re greased and re fitted.
- Transmission: All components removed, inspected for wear, cleaned and re fitted. Chain and cassette measured for wear. Bottom bracket, crank and chain rings removed and inspected for wear. Gear hanger checked and adjusted to ensure perfect indexing of the gears. Di2 / AXS updated to the most current software.
- Braking system: Pads are checked for wear, discs measured to ensure within tolerance. Discs cleaned and brakes correctly adjusted.
- All fitted accessories checked to ensure correctly fitted.
- Bike fully test ridden

Yes, we offer 3 months on labour and 2 years on manufacturer parts

It is helpful if your bike is clean but completely optional

How long does a service take?
A basic service will take 1-2 days and a full service 1-4 days depending on workload and parts needed.
My gears are slipping what could be the cause?
Mostly like chain and cassette worn but contact us with any queries you have
How often should I have my bike serviced?
We recommend a basic service every 6 months or full service every 12 months. This largely depends on mileage so give us a call if you’re unsure.
Do you do tubeless setups?
Yes we do, we have a wide range, please contact us to discuss.
