Cold feet end winter rides early. Your shoes are vented for summer, and every pedal stroke pushes cold air straight through them. The Sportful Winter Shoe Cover closes that gap with a windproof membrane across the upper, so cold air and spray thrown up off the road stay out.
Sportful has pitched these as a mid-weight cover. There’s enough insulation for proper winter riding, but they aren’t so bulky that they feel clumsy on the bike or fight your shoe’s fit. They suit everything from dark commutes through to long base-miles weekends.
Built to survive winter roads
Overshoes usually fail at the bottom first: walking at café stops, putting a foot down at junctions, and grit off wet lanes. Sportful uses a more durable fabric on the lower section, and the sole area includes aramid in the blend for added toughness where the cover takes the most abuse.
Quick on, quick off
The Velcro closure sits beneath the sole rather than up the back, so fitting is simple and there’s no fiddling with a zip in cold gloves. Sportful designs the cover to work with road shoes as well as MTB and gravel shoes, which makes it a good single option if you switch between bikes over winter.
