Selle Italia Novus Boost Evo Lady TM Superflow: a women’s saddle for long, hard rides
Selle Italia redesigned the Novus Boost Evo Lady from scratch for female riders. It’s a road saddle that combines low weight and comfort without giving up strength. Its job is to support your sit bones properly and take pressure off soft tissue, so you can hold your position for hours.
Superflow cutout and waved profile
The Superflow is Selle Italia’s widest cutout. It removes material from the centre of the saddle to minimise pressure on the perineum over long rides. The waved profile, with a raised rear and dipped centre, holds your sit bones in place. Selle Italia recommends waved saddles for riders who sit in a stable position on the saddle, and for those whose pelvis tilts backwards.
Short nose
The Boost short-nose design leaves more room to move when you rotate forward into a low position. That improves pedalling ergonomics and handling, and there’s less saddle to catch when you’re down on the drops.
Construction
The shell is a carbon-composite and high-grade nylon blend. The rails are 7mm tubular chromoly-manganese alloy, which is light but has some flex to take the sting out of rough roads. Selle Italia’s Soft-Tek polyurethane cover sits over extra padding designed for long distances and to reduce the risk of skin irritation.

What does L3 mean?
Selle Italia sizes saddles by width and cutout. “L” is the wider option, for riders whose sit bones are more than 120mm apart. “3” means the largest cutout, the Superflow.
How do I know if I need the L width?
The deciding measurement is the distance between your sit bones. If you’ve had a bike fit or a sit-bone measurement, you’ll already know it. If not, come into the shop and talk to us before you choose.
Who is the Superflow cutout for?
Selle Italia recommends the Superflow for riders with good flexibility and pelvic rotation, who tend to roll forward onto the front of the saddle. Selle Italia doesn’t recommend a saddle without a cutout for flexible riders.
What’s the difference between this and the standard Novus Boost Evo TM Superflow?
The Lady version is designed specifically around female anatomy. Both share the Novus Boost short-nose platform and Superflow cutout.
Will it fit my seatpost?
It has standard round 7mm rails, so it’s compatible with most seatpost clamps.
Is it a road or gravel saddle?
Selle Italia lists it as a road saddle. A separate Novus Boost Evo Gravel model exists if you mainly ride off-road.
