Can these tri bars be fitted to any road bike?
The Legacy II uses a 31.8mm clamp diameter, which is standard for most modern handlebars. It can also be used on 26.0mm handlebars with the correct shims (sold separately or included in some kits).
Is the length or rise of the extensions adjustable?
The extension adjustment is fixed in terms of length, but the armrests allow for both width and rotational adjustments, enabling crucial fit customisation.
What is the primary benefit of installing the Legacy II?
The main benefit is the ability to adopt an aerodynamic tuck position on your road bike. This dramatically reduces your frontal area (drag), leading to a significant increase in speed for the same power output.
Are these bars compatible with Di2 or internal cable routing?
As a basic clip-on bar, the Legacy II uses external routing, but it can be used on any bike that runs electronic shifting (Di2 or AXS), provided the cables are managed correctly around the base bar.
