The Orca Openwater Core Gloves Women’s are 3mm neoprene swim gloves cut for smaller hands, so they keep you warm and working in cold open water. The highly elastic lining gives a close fit. The extra-long cuff tucks under or over your wetsuit sleeve, which cuts down on cold water flushing in at the wrist.

Warm hands for cold-water swimming
Cold hands are often the first thing to end an open water session early. Once your fingers go numb, your catch gets weaker and simple jobs like adjusting your goggles or unzipping your wetsuit get harder. The women’s Orca Core Gloves use 3mm neoprene, with a pattern Orca has designed for elasticity, so your hands stay warm without the gloves feeling stiff or bulky in the water.
Designed to seal with your wetsuit
The extra-long pattern overlaps your wetsuit sleeve, so there’s no gap at the wrist for cold water to get in. Inside, a highly elastic lining holds the glove close to your hand, which helps keep in the thin layer of water that your body warms up.
Sized for smaller hands
The women’s Core Gloves come in XS, S and M. Measure around your hand at its widest point, just below the knuckles, and pick your size from the guide. Neoprene gloves should feel snug when dry. A loose glove lets water move around inside and loses heat much faster.

What size Orca Core Gloves Women’s do I need?
Measure around your hand just below the knuckles. XS fits up to 17.8cm, S fits 17.8–19cm and M fits 19–20.3cm. If you’re between sizes, choose the snugger one, as neoprene gives a little when wet.
How thick are the Orca Core Gloves?
They’re made from 3mm neoprene, which balances warmth with enough flexibility for a good catch.
Do they go over or under my wetsuit sleeve?
Either works. The extra-long cuff is designed to overlap your wetsuit. Many swimmers tuck the glove under the sleeve so water doesn’t funnel inside as they pull.
