The Valeco 2 is HJC’s mid-range performance helmet — built to bring trickle-down technology from their top-tier helmets down to a lower price point, rather than being a stripped-back budget option. It’s wind-tunnel tested for genuine aero benefit, and pairs that with COOLPATH™ ventilated padding so you’re not trading airflow for the aero shape.
Fit You Set Once
Rather than a strap-and-dial system you’re constantly fiddling with mid-ride, the Valeco 2 uses HJC’s SELFIT™ automatic self-adjusting fit system. Set it once for your head shape and it holds that fit automatically, even as your head moves during the ride — no re-tightening needed. It’s backed up by a 5-step snap-fit system for riders who want a bit more manual control over the fit.
Built to Last, Built to Protect
The shell uses HJC’s in-mould construction, bonding the EPS liner to the polycarbonate outer shell for structural strength and a clean finish. An advanced air channel system pulls air in through the front intake and exhausts it out the rear, using the same pressure-differential principles (Ventury dynamics) found in HJC’s more expensive semi-aero helmets. A reflective sticker adds a level of low-light visibility.

Does it come with SLID™ rotational protection like the Furion 3 or Bellus 2?
No — the Valeco 2 sits below those models and doesn’t include SLID™. It focuses on SELFIT™ fit and COOLPATH™ ventilation at a more accessible price point.
How much does it weigh?

Can I get replacement padding for this helmet?
Yes — HJC sells replacement inner padding and a SELFIT fitting system specifically for the Valeco 2 as separate accessories.
