What is the main difference between the CDA and the Croix de Fer?
The primary difference is the frame material. The CDA uses ALX8 Aluminium, making it slightly lighter and more affordable, while the Croix de Fer uses Mjolnir Steel for a more traditional, vibration-damping ride feel. They share the same versatile geometry.
Can I fit a kickstand to the Genesis CDA 20?
Yes! The CDA 20 features a dedicated 40mm integrated kickstand mount, making it incredibly convenient for urban use and commuting.
Does it come with mudguards?
While the bike doesn’t come with mudguards pre-installed, the frame and fork have dedicated eyelets to fit full-length mudguards easily.
Is the CDA 20 suitable for bike packing?
Definitely. With mounts for a rear rack, front fork cages, and three bottle cages, it is well-equipped for light bikepacking and weekend touring.
