Care
Whilst the Dryrobe® Advance does not need washing regularly, it’s easy to clean when needed
- Wash inside out (ideally in the Guppyfriend Washing Bag)
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle
- Use a non-bio powder or a technical cleaner like Nikwax Tech Wash (do not use a fabric conditioner)
- Hang or lay flat and dry at room temperature (do not tumble dry)

Made from 100% recycled nylon, this shell offers a massive 25,000mm waterproof rating and is completely windproof. The Grey Camo pattern is not only stylish but highly practical, effectively masking salt spray and mud. Finished with a plant-based, PFC-free DWR, moisture beads off the surface instantly to keep you bone-dry in the harshest conditions.
+2Advanced Thermal Recovery Inside, the robe features the signature HL-Aero™ synthetic lambswool lining in a classic Black finish. This advanced fleece is designed to wick water away from your skin and trap it deep within the fibres, accelerating the drying process 8x faster than a conventional towel. By trapping a layer of warm air against your body, it helps regulate your core temperature the moment you exit the water, preventing wind chill and aiding rapid recovery.

Is the Grey Camo pattern different in texture from the solid colours?
No, the fabric is the same high-performance recycled ExoV-Shell™ used across the Advance range. It feels identical to the solid colours but features a durable printed camo aesthetic.
Does the grey pattern show mud and dirt easily?
On the contrary, the Grey Camo is one of our best colourways for masking dirt, dried salt, and mud, making it a favourite for cyclocross, obstacle course racing, and winter coastal swimming.
Is the Dryrobe Advance fully waterproof?
Yes. The outer shell is rated to 25,000mm waterproofness and features heat-sealed seams. It is designed to be used in heavy rain and wind without the moisture penetrating the inner fleece.
Is it heavy to wear?
Despite its warmth, the Dryrobe Advance is surprisingly lightweight for its size. The recycled nylon shell and synthetic fleece are designed to provide maximum insulation with minimal bulk, though the robe is intentionally oversized to facilitate changing.
How do I choose the right size?
Dryrobes are designed to be oversized to allow room for changing inside. Usually, sizing is based on height. If you are between sizes and intend to use it primarily for changing, go for the larger size. If you want to use it more as a traditional coat, the smaller size may offer a more tailored fit.
Can I use this for swimming?
No. The Dryrobe Advance is a surface-use garment only. It should never be worn in the water, as the heavy lining and waterproof shell would pose a significant safety risk.
