Description
Dryrobe Advance Burgundy Grey Changing Robe
Weather-Proof Engineering The Burgundy edition features the high-performance ExoV-Shellâ„¢, a 100% recycled nylon outer that provides a 25,000mm waterproof rating. This shell is completely windproof and finished with a plant-based, PFC-free DWR, ensuring that rain and sea spray bead off the surface instantly. The deep Burgundy fabric is not only stylish but highly durable, designed to withstand the abrasive nature of outdoor sports and salty coastal air.
Advanced Thermal Lining The interior is fitted with the signature HL-Aeroâ„¢ synthetic lambswool in a classic Grey finish. This advanced fleece is engineered to wick moisture away from your skin and trap it deep within the fibres, accelerating the drying process significantly compared to standard cotton. By preserving your core temperature and shielding you from wind chill, it ensures you stay warm and comfortable the moment you stop moving.
Functional Changing Design The oversized “change space” design allows you to easily pull your arms inside to change out of a wetsuit or damp kit discreetly, regardless of how exposed your location is.
- Reversible YKK® Zip: A heavy-duty, 2-way zip that allows for easy operation from either inside or outside the robe.
- Specialised Storage: Features a large internal ‘poacher’ pocket for dry clothes, a waterproof zipped internal pocket for electronics, and fleece-lined external pockets to keep your hands warm.
- Sustainable Construction: As a B Corpâ„¢ certified product, the Burgundy & Grey Advance is made from GRS-certified recycled materials, reflecting a commitment to protecting the environments we love to explore.

Wetsuit Sizing
How does the Dark Green colour compare to Forest Green?
Dark Green is a cooler, more desaturated tone (closer to a deep teal or petroleum green), whereas Forest Green is a warmer, traditional “earthy” green. The Dark Green is paired with a Grey lining, while the Forest Green is paired with a Black lining.
Does the grey lining show stains easily?
While lighter than the black lining, the Grey HL-Aero™ fleece is designed to be resilient. It masks salt marks and light dust well. For deep cleaning, the robe can be machine washed at 30°C.
Can I use this for coastal swimming in winter?
Absolutely. Its primary design is to prevent the “after-drop” in core temperature that occurs after winter swimming. The windproof shell is especially effective on exposed Norfolk beaches.
Is it okay to wear this over a wet wetsuit?
Yes, that is exactly what it is designed for. The lining will wick the moisture away from the outside of the wetsuit and keep you warm while you walk back to the car or prepare to change.
Is the Dryrobe Advance fully waterproof?
Yes. The outer shell is rated to 25,000mm waterproofness and features heat-sealed seams. It is designed to be used in heavy rain and wind without the moisture penetrating the inner fleece.
Is it heavy to wear?
Despite its warmth, the Dryrobe Advance is surprisingly lightweight for its size. The recycled nylon shell and synthetic fleece are designed to provide maximum insulation with minimal bulk, though the robe is intentionally oversized to facilitate changing.
How do I choose the right size?
Dryrobes are designed to be oversized to allow room for changing inside. Usually, sizing is based on height. If you are between sizes and intend to use it primarily for changing, go for the larger size. If you want to use it more as a traditional coat, the smaller size may offer a more tailored fit.
Can I use this for swimming?
No. The Dryrobe Advance is a surface-use garment only. It should never be worn in the water, as the heavy lining and waterproof shell would pose a significant safety risk.
