Care
Whilst the Dryrobe® Advance does not need washing regularly, it’s easy to clean when needed
- Wash inside out (ideally in the Guppyfriend Washing Bag)
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle
- Use a non-bio powder or a technical cleaner like Nikwax Tech Wash (do not use a fabric conditioner)
- Hang or lay flat and dry at room temperature (do not tumble dry)

Combined with a plant-based, PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, it ensures that even in torrential rain or heavy sea spray, you remain completely dry inside.
Advanced Thermal Lining The heart of the Dryrobe is its unique HL-Aero™ synthetic lambswool lining. Made from 100% recycled polyester, the pile is designed to draw water away from your skin and trap it in the fabric’s fibres, drying you up to 8x faster than a standard towel. This rapid-wicking technology is essential for preventing wind chill and aiding fast recovery after cold water immersion.

Is the Dryrobe Advance fully waterproof?
Yes. The outer shell is rated to 25,000mm waterproofness and features heat-sealed seams. It is designed to be used in heavy rain and wind without the moisture penetrating the inner fleece.
How do I choose the right size?
Dryrobes are designed to be oversized to allow room for changing inside. Usually, sizing is based on height. If you are between sizes and intend to use it primarily for changing, go for the larger size. If you want to use it more as a traditional coat, the smaller size may offer a more tailored fit.
Can I use this for swimming?
No. The Dryrobe Advance is a surface-use garment only. It should never be worn in the water, as the heavy lining and waterproof shell would pose a significant safety risk.
