The PACE 4 is designed around one core idea: give runners serious training tools without the weight and bulk that usually comes with a full-featured GPS watch. At just 32 grams with the nylon band, it’s lighter than a gel packet — but still carries a 1.2-inch touchscreen AMOLED display, all-satellite dual-frequency GPS, and COROS’s full EvoLab training suite.
The AMOLED display is a genuine step up from the previous PACE generation, offering 164% higher resolution with auto-adjusting brightness that stays readable in bright sunlight or low light. Combined with an always-on option, it’s built to stay legible mid-run without constantly needing a wrist-flick to wake it.
Battery life built for long training blocks
With up to 41 hours of GPS battery life in All Systems (High) mode, and up to 19 days of daily use and sleep tracking between charges, the PACE 4 is built to disappear into your routine rather than demand constant charging — a genuine consideration for anyone training for a marathon or ultra where GPS battery life during long sessions actually matters.
EvoLab and real training depth

How long does the battery last?
Up to 41 hours of GPS tracking in All Systems (High) mode, or up to 19 days of daily use and sleep tracking between charges. Battery life reduces somewhat with the Always-On Display enabled.
Is this watch good for beginners, or only serious runners?
Both — COROS designed it for “everyone from elite racers to first-timers.” The training tools (EvoLab, Effort Pace, training plans) scale to suit whatever level you’re training at.
Can I swap the bands?
Yes — the standard PACE 4 can be customised with any colour of nylon or silicone band.
Is it waterproof for swimming?
It’s rated 5 ATM, suitable for surface water activities, but COROS states it’s not intended for diving.
