Assos Mille GT Jersey S11
This Assos short sleeve cycling jersey is the ultimate endurance jersey for the hottest conditions, weighs 25% less than the standard MILLE GT C2 EVO jersey. The body is engineered with two new, ultralight textiles for breathability and cooling airflow that rival the EQUIPE RS while maintaining the GT’s comfort-tuned fit. The sleeves are also updated, using the same textile as the previous EQUIPE RS Jersey for ultrabreathable, muscle-wrapping support that’s inspired by racing equipment but shaped for streamlined comfort (UPF 15) is so lightweight, breathable, and cooling, that we recommend wearing sunscreen beneath it.

What's the difference between the MILLE GT Jersey S11 and the MILLE GT Jersey S11 EVO?
They share the same AirCell body fabric and regularFit, but differ in sleeve fabric and construction details. The S11 (original) uses Push Pull sleeves — the same textile as the previous EQUIPE RS race jersey — paired with a PILtec Plug-In rear hem grip and hyperelastic upper pockets. The EVO replaces Push Pull with the newer Eclipse sleeve fabric, simplifies the rear hem, and reduces the overall seam count for a cleaner construction. The S11 is the higher-performance hot-weather specialist; the EVO is the refined everyday iteration.
How does the MILLE GT S11 compare to the EQUIPE R Jersey?
The key difference is fit and intent. The EQUIPE R uses a second-skin racingFit engineered for aerodynamics and racing. The MILLE GT S11 uses a regularFit designed for comfort across long endurance rides — more room through the body, less aggressive in the riding position. The AirCell body fabric is the same; the overall performance feel is similar, but the MILLE GT is built for hours rather than minutes.
What conditions is this jersey designed for?
Assos rate it for +21°C and above — this is a warm-weather, hot-conditions jersey. It’s at its best on long summer rides, sportives, and hot-weather racing where maximum airflow is the priority. For cooler days it layers with an Assos Summer Skin Layer base.
Why does Assos recommend sunscreen beneath the body panels?
The AirCell fabric is an open hexagonal knit — the same properties that make it so breathable also mean reduced UV blocking through the body panels (rated UPF 15). On long rides, particularly in full sun, that adds up. The Push Pull sleeves are rated UPF 50+ so arms are well protected; it’s the torso area to consider, especially on multi-hour efforts.
Does Assos sizing run true to size?
Generally yes for the regularFit. It’s a performance cut but not as aggressive as the racingFit — most riders will find their usual Assos size works. If you’re new to Assos or between sizes, give us a call and we’ll help you find the right fit before you order.
