The Assos MILLE GT Jersey S11 EVO is the core of Assos’s endurance comfort series — and the EVO update sharpens everything that already worked. Built on a jersey that’s been engineered to keep you cool, dry, and well-supplied day after day.
AirCell Body, Eclipse Sleeves
The main body fabric is AirCell, the same ultralight circular knit with an open hexagon pattern used across Assos’s Racing Series. It delivers extreme cooling breathability, bistretch support, and built-in odorControl for freshness on long, hard efforts.
What’s new in the EVO is the sleeve fabric: Eclipse. A lightweight warp knit with an ultrasoft skin feel and UPF 50+ protection, it wraps your arms in cooling comfort without any of the bulk you’d expect at this weight. It’s a meaningful upgrade over the previous generation’s sleeves.Cleaner Construction, Smarter Pockets
The EVO features a streamlined regularFit with body-contoured shaping and a reduced seam count — less friction, easier layering, more comfort across long hours in the saddle. The sleeves use a raw-cut, lie-flat construction adapted from the Racing Series for a low-profile finish that reduces bulk at the cuff.
The rear pocket system retains the Triple Ramp design with fabric lids that secure and stabilise your kit, while the ultralight Stabiliser V11 back panel prevents sag even when all three pockets are fully loaded.

How does the MILLE GT differ from the EQUIPE R?
Different series, different purpose. The EQUIPE R is Assos’s racing jersey — second-skin racingFit, optimised for aerodynamics and maximum heat dissipation at high intensity. The MILLE GT is their endurance jersey — a regularFit cut designed for comfort across long hours in the saddle. If you’re racing crits or sportives flat-out, the EQUIPE R. If you’re riding big days, audaxes, or just want a jersey you can wear every day without it feeling punishing, the MILLE GT.
What's new in the EVO version?
The main update is the sleeve fabric. Previous GT jerseys used a different sleeve material; the EVO introduces Eclipse — a new, lightweight warp knit with an ultrasoft feel and UPF 50+ protection. The construction has also been simplified with a reduced seam count, and the jersey carries the updated Assos logo first introduced on the SS-26 Racing Series.
What's the fit like?
The MILLE GT uses Assos’s regularFit — it’s not as aggressive as the racing-oriented racingFit, but it’s still a performance cut. What conditions is the MILLE GT designed for?
Assos rate it for +21°C and above, making it a summer and warm-weather jersey. The AirCell body and Eclipse sleeves both prioritise breathability, so it’s at its best in the heat. For cooler days, it layers easily with a base layer thanks to the reduced seam count and clean construction.
Does the sunscreen recommendation affect everyday use?
Assos flag this because the jersey is so lightweight that UV penetration through the body panels is possible during long rides. It’s not unusual for performance fabrics at this weight — just worth being aware of, especially on full-day efforts. The Eclipse sleeves are rated UPF 50+ so arms are well protected.
