The main body is constructed from AirCell, an ultralight circular knit with an open hexagon pattern engineered for extreme cooling breathability. The bistretch construction provides elastic, body-wrapping support, while built-in odorControl keeps things fresh through repeated high-intensity efforts. It’s light enough that you’ll barely notice it’s there — which is exactly the point.
racingFit: WorldTour Aerodynamics, Daily Training Use
The racingFit silhouette is a second-skin, aerodynamic cut developed from Assos’s WorldTour research. Bonded sleeves and a friction-free zipper eliminate bulk and reduce chafing on long efforts. This is a proper race fit — expect it to feel snug off the bike and dialled in the moment you’re on it.

We Are The A is a campaign colourway from Assos — Moka Brown is a warm, earthy neutral that’s understated on the road but distinctive up close. All the same performance features as the standard EQUIPE R S11 apply.
How does the racingFit compare to a standard club fit?
It’s significantly more aggressive. The racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed for riders in a race or performance training position. It’ll feel tight standing up — that’s intentional. If you’re used to a relaxed or sportive fit, it’s worth sizing up or using Assos’s online size guide before ordering.
What conditions is this jersey designed for?
The EQUIPE R S11 is optimised for hot-weather riding and racing. The AirCell fabric excels in high temperatures and at high effort levels where airflow is maximised. It’s not a jersey for cool spring mornings — for that, Assos’s layering system (Summer 1/3 RS base layer) can extend its versatility.
Will the jersey stay in place when my pockets are loaded?
Yes — the PILtec Plug-In rear hem uses microdot silicone to grip your shorts’ waistband and keep the back panel stable. The Triple Ramp Pockets also use fabric lids to prevent contents from shifting or bouncing, even on rough roads.
Does Assos sizing run true?
Generally yes, but the racingFit is cut close. If you’re between sizes or carry more muscle through the chest and shoulders, size up. If you already own Assos kit, stick with your usual size.
