Time ADHX 45: TIME's Unique Carbon Construction
Unlike industry-standard pre-preg carbon sheets, the ADHX 45 uses Braided Carbon Structure (BCS) technology and Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM). This process weaves continuous, unbroken carbon and Dyneema® fibres (15x stronger than steel) along the frame’s structure. This eliminates stress points, dramatically reduces road-induced vibrations, and gives the frame an unmatched fatigue life and durability for aggressive off-road use.
Key Features
Volume, Traction & Control
A 45c tyre has roughly three times the volume of a 28c tyre and about 65% more than a 38c version. More volume allows lower air pressures and better traction, increased comfort and more stability. Additionally, the more aggressive tread patterns available in larger sizes further contribute to grip on uncertain terrain.
1X Derailleur cover
With the included TIME Derailleur Mount Cover, your 1X setup will look as slick and finished as the rest of your bike. Full compatibility with single and double–ring drivetrains doesn’t mean making a visual compromise.
Forged Carbon
With 20x the fatigue life of steel or alloy, we use forged carbon where others spec heavier aluminum parts. A 60% fiber content allows drilling and threading without cracking, processes that are much more challenging with prepreg construction.
Top Tube Mount Point
Frame storage is great, but fingertip access while riding is better. Your ADHX is compatible with bags or mounting systems that use a standard bottle mount.
Reinforced Steerer
Fork steerer tubes must withstand a great deal of stress from riding and clamping forces imparted by the stem. TIME have always reinforced steerers with Kevlar or Vectran fibers to dramatically reduce the risk of total failure and separation in this critical area.

How much tyre clearance does the ADHX 45 have?
It fits up to 45mm gravel tyres — TIME’s chosen “sweet spot” balancing volume and traction against weight and drivetrain compatibility. With narrower tyres it also performs well as an everyday road bike.
What is Dyneema and why does it matter on a bike frame?
Dyneema is the world’s strongest fibre — around 15x stronger than steel by weight. Woven into the frame structure, it improves impact resistance and ride compliance, soaking up vibration and adding durability where standard carbon frames are more prone to stress fatigue.
Is the ADHX 45 compatible with modern drivetrains?
Yes — it’s built to the Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) standard for smoother shifting and better durability, and works with both 1x and 2x setups. A derailleur mount cover is included for a clean look with 1x builds.

What We Think Of The Time ADHX 45
The Time is the one for people who want something genuinely different — the Dyneema construction isn't marketing, it's a real difference in how the frame handles impacts and rough ground. It's a proper gravel slayer, and it's got a story most bikes in the shop can't tell.
