What makes the V-PR different from a standard road bike with aero bars?
The V-PR is engineered from the ground up as a dedicated triathlon platform, not adapted from a road frame. The asymmetric Shift+ downtube and LEA2 non-drive chainstay work together to manage airflow specifically around the rear wheel and drivetrain, which a road-bike-based design can’t replicate.
How does the V-PR perform aerodynamically compared to other tri bikes?
Quintana Roo’s own wind tunnel testing shows the V-PR is 12.7% more efficient on average than the Cervelo P5 across a yaw sweep of -15 to 15 degrees at 24mph, and 5.02% more efficient than its own predecessor, the PRsix2 Disc.
What storage and nutrition options does the V-PR have?
The fully removable QBox holds a tube, CO2, tyre levers and a multitool while staying aerodynamic, and the redesigned nutrition box uses a rigid rubber build with a zip closure for gels, a flask or bars. Hydration can be run through an integrated aero bottle or an extension-mounted between-the-arms setup, depending on preference.

The threaded T47 standard improves stiffness, serviceability and long-term reliability compared to a press-fit design — a detail that matters more over the life of the bike than on day one.
