TRIHARD was founded in 2013 by a group of multisport athletes who couldn’t find personal care products that worked for the specific demands of their training. As triathletes and swimmers spending significant time in chlorinated pools and open water, they found that standard shampoos, conditioners and skin products either failed to remove chlorine effectively or left hair and skin worse off for repeated use. Their response was to develop their own.

The brand’s products are built around PLECOTECH — a proprietary cleansing technology that uses a specific ratio of natural red algae, minerals from the Dead Sea, and botanical extracts to prevent, protect and treat skin and hair from the effects of chlorine and saltwater. The formulations are vegan and dermatologically tested, developed in collaboration with scientists and elite athletes. TRIHARD has since been adopted by Olympic swimmers and world champion triathletes as their go-to swim care range, with products covering pre-swim protection, post-swim cleansing and ongoing skin and hair recovery. At Tri Harder, the range covers the core swim care essentials: the chlorine removal shampoo, protection conditioner and body wash.
