Body Glide started in California in 1996, born out of surfing, running and the general business of staying active without your skin paying the price. The idea was simple: stop chafing, blisters and rubbing before they start, rather than patching them up after. That balm found its way into the kitbags of endurance athletes fast, and it’s stayed there since — trusted for long days on the bike, in the water and on the run, where friction and salt water are a given.

The formula is plant-derived rather than petroleum-based — no mineral oil, lanolin or animal products — and goes on invisible and non-greasy, without blocking pores or stopping you sweating normally. One application is usually enough to see you through a full day of racing or training.
