Colnago V5RS
The Colnago V5Rs is the ultimate expression of Colnago’s racing DNA. Engineered to be lighter, more aerodynamic, and more responsive than its predecessor, it is a bike born for the professional peloton. Designed in collaboration with the world’s elite riders, the V5Rs balances weight and rigidity to ensure that whether you are attacking on a steep ascent or sprinting for the line, you are riding the fastest monocoque frame in Colnago’s history.

Colnago V5RS: The Perfect Balance of Performance
The Colnago V5Rs is the result of a “From-Race-To-Race” development approach. By refining the design through intensive CFD simulations and wind tunnel validation, Colnago has achieved a 13% reduction in frontal area compared to the V4Rs, saving crucial watts at high speeds. This is the lightest Colnago ever built, with a ready-to-paint frame weighing just 685g. Yet, despite its featherweight profile, the V5Rs offers superior steering precision and 32mm tire clearance, providing the grip and handling necessary for modern, high-speed racing on unpredictable terrain.
Key Features
The lightest Colnago ever
The V5Rs is the lightest Colnago ever built, with a ready-to-paint frame weighing in at 685 grams. The frame kit weighs 12.5% less than its predecessor, without compromising rigidity.

Thinner profiles
The experience gained with the Y1Rs has allowed us to refine the design of the V5Rs, which uses thin, high-performance profiles. In the wind tunnel, its aerodynamic performance is close to that of the best aero frames.

Narrow frontal area
The frontal area of the V5Rs measures 250 cm², 13% less than its predecessor. The evolution of the head tube - now narrower - helps reduce air resistance and save watts.

Stiff and responsive
The V5Rs combines lightness and aerodynamics without compromising stiffness and responsiveness, guaranteeing performance suited to the needs of the professional riders of the UAE teams.

More precise steering
The V5Rs has a new fork that is lighter and more precise. The tyre clearance of 32 mm allows the use of wider tyres: more grip, better handling and speed on uneven terrain.

Absolute carbon quality.
Thanks to new lamination techniques, the arrangement of carbon fibres is studied and controlled in every area of the frame. The result is a lightweight, resistant and long-lasting structure.
