Ridley Triton Fast: A Triathlon Bike Built Around Your Race Day

The Ridley Triton Fast is a purpose-built triathlon machine that doesn’t ask you to compromise. Progressive geometry places you closer to the bottom bracket than a traditional tri bike, tipping you into a powerful, stable aero position you can hold for the full bike leg — and still run off.

Flip chips in the fork let you choose between three rake settings (45, 50 or 55mm), shifting the handling from composed and stable on fast, open roads to sharper and more responsive through technical sections. The cockpit adjusts in both stack and extension angle without fixed-increment spacers, so your fit is genuinely dialled rather than approximated. When it comes to travel or post-race breakdown, the whole assembly comes apart quickly.

Ridley back the Triton Fast with a lifetime warranty, transferable to a second owner — genuine long-term confidence beyond the first purchase. The bike has been validated at elite level, developed with input from professional triathletes including Jelle Geens, so the performance claims are backed by real race conditions rather than marketing alone.

Available in four sizes (XS–L) with a choice of builds from SRAM Rival AXS 2×12 through to SRAM Force XPLR 1×13. Custom colour configurations are available via the Ridley configurator — get in touch for current lead times.

Ridley Triton Fast FAQs

Everything you need to know before ordering a Ridley Triton Fast through Tri Harder.

  • What makes the Triton Fast different from a standard TT bike?

It uses triathlon-specific progressive geometry that positions you closer to the bottom bracket than a traditional TT bike, built for sustained comfort and power over a full bike leg rather than a shorter time trial effort.

  • How does the adjustable fork rake work?

Flip chips in the fork let you choose between three rake settings — 45, 50 or 55mm — shifting the handling from stable and composed at high speed to sharper and more responsive through technical sections.

  • Can I adjust the cockpit fit without buying new parts?

Yes — the cockpit adjusts in both stack and extension angle through a rotational system rather than fixed-increment spacers, so you can dial in your exact position rather than the nearest approximation.

  • How is hydration and nutrition storage handled on the Triton Fast?

Both are integrated within the frame itself — hydration and nutrition storage sit inside the frame architecture, keeping them accessible without disrupting your aero position or the bike’s clean profile.

What We Think Of The Ridley Triton Fast

Our Verdict

The Triton Fast is Ridley's first purpose-built tri platform, and it shows — this isn't an aero road bike wearing clip-ons. The progressive geometry genuinely changes how the position feels, and the tool-free cockpit adjustment means you're not fighting fixed spacer increments to get your fit right.

What we like

  • Progressive geometry positions you closer to the bottom bracket for a genuinely different, more powerful aero position — not just a marketing term
  • Cockpit adjusts in stack and extension angle without fixed increments, so fit is properly dialled rather than approximated
  • Adjustable fork rake via flip chips (45/50/55mm) lets you tune handling to the course rather than accepting one compromise setup
  • Lifetime warranty, transferable to a second owner — genuine long-term value beyond the first sale

Worth knowing

Best For

Triathletes who want a genuinely purpose-built platform over an adapted road frame, and who'll make use of the fine-tuned fit and handling adjustability rather than just wanting a fast-looking bike.
