The UMA GT Jersey S11 EVO is the women’s counterpart to the MILLE GT — the core of Assos’s endurance comfort series, refined for the SS-26 season. Same philosophy: keep you cool, dry, and well-supplied ride after ride, without compromise on comfort or quality.
AirCell Body, Eclipse Sleeves
The main body fabric is AirCell, the ultralight circular knit with an open hexagon pattern that Assos use across their endurance and racing lines. It delivers extreme cooling breathability, bistretch stretch and support, and built-in odorControl to keep things fresh on long, hard efforts in the heat.
The EVO update brings new Eclipse sleeves — a lightweight warp knit with an ultrasoft skin feel and UPF 50+ protection. It’s noticeably lighter and more elastic than the previous sleeve fabric, wrapping your arms in cooling support without restriction or bulk.
Cleaner Construction, Better Pockets
The regularFit uses body-contoured shaping and a reduced seam count for all-day comfort and clean layering. Sleeves feature a raw-cut, lie-flat construction adapted from the Racing Series — minimal profile at the cuff, no bunching. The rear Triple Ramp Pockets use flexible fabric lids to keep contents secure and stable, backed by an ultralight Stabilizer V11 back panel that prevents sag even when all three pockets are loaded. The EVO also carries the updated Assos logo first introduced on the SS-26 Racing Series.
The GT Jersey S11 EVO is so lightweight that Assos recommend applying sunscreen beneath the body panels on long rides.

What's the difference between the UMA GT and MILLE GT jerseys?
The UMA GT is the women’s version; the MILLE GT is the men’s version. Both use identical core technology — AirCell body, Eclipse sleeves, Triple Ramp Pockets, Stabiliser V11 back panel. The UMA GT is cut to a women’s-specific fit with women’s sizing (2XS–2XL), while the MILLE GT runs XS–3XL in a men’s cut.
What's new in the EVO version?
Two main updates: the sleeves now use Eclipse fabric, which is lighter and softer than the previous sleeve textile and adds UPF 50+ protection. The construction has also been simplified with a reduced seam count for a cleaner finish, and the jersey carries the updated Assos logo from the SS-26 Racing Series.
What's the fit like?
The UMA GT uses Assos’s regularFit — performance-oriented but not as aggressive as the racingFit on the DYORA RS race jerseys. It’s designed to be comfortable across long hours in the saddle, with enough structure to stay in place and enough room to layer on cooler days. What conditions is this jersey designed for?
Assos rate it for +21°C and above — it’s a warm-weather, summer-focused jersey. The AirCell body and Eclipse sleeves both prioritise maximum breathability, so it’s most at home on hot days and hard efforts. It layers easily with a base layer for shoulder-season riding.
Why does Assos recommend sunscreen beneath the body panels?
At this weight, UV rays can penetrate the fabric on long rides — the AirCell weave is open enough to maximise airflow, which also means reduced UV blocking. Assos flag this themselves and recommend applying sunscreen under the jersey. The Eclipse sleeves are rated UPF 50+ so arm coverage is strong; it’s the body panels specifically to be aware of.
